Blackberry, macerated black cherries, a touch of boysenberry and noticeable vanillary that at least does not smother its definition. The palate if full-bodied with ripe, slightly chewy tannins, moderate acidity, very pure with a rounded, supple finish of blackberry, pomegranate and a hint of white pepper.
