An elegant blend of Carignan, Syrah and Garnacha, Salmos has been produced by Familia Torres as a tribute to the monks of the Carthusian Monastery of Scala Dei, who arrived in Priorat in 1194 and introduced winegrowing there. It is made from grapes mostly sourced from the family`s La Giberga vineyard in Porrera, where Priorat`s famed llicorella slate soils predominate. This plush red delivers flavours of ripe cherry with vanilla, toast and liquorice.
