{"product_id":"haut-brion-blanc-1989","title":"Haut Brion Blanc 1989","description":"Château Haut-Brion Blanc 1989 is a full-bodied white wine from the Pessac-Léognan region of Bordeaux. Haut-Brion has the distinction of being the only property outside Médoc to be designated Premier Cru Classé in the 1855 Classification. It is also the oldest property in the Pessac region. Grapes are thought to have been grown on the estate since the Roman era, while the first recorded mention of the property was in 1423. Its wines were famously name-checked by Samuel Pepys in his eponymous Diaries. As well as its grand vin red, the estate produces one of the iconic white wines of Graves. This example is from the famously hot, ripe 1989 vintage. \"Developed wax and wet-wool character on the nose, very buttery with a gorgeous weight of fruit and little floral notes among peach, vanilla and nuts. Fantastic ripeness of fruit gives a sweet impression on the palate with lots of orange and lush apricot… long, very focused and pure finish.\" Tom Cannavan, 2000","brand":"Chateau Haut-Brion","offers":[{"title":"Duty Paid","offer_id":62429406757194,"sku":"HED64384","price":2220.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0998\/7696\/2634\/files\/HED64384.jpg?v=1781918040","url":"https:\/\/hedonism.co.uk\/products\/haut-brion-blanc-1989","provider":"Hedonism Wines","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
