Thanks to the high altitude of these vineyards, Biondi-Santi managed to produce a remarkable Riserva in the rather hot 2007 vintage. The wine opens with aromas of forest floor and dried rose petals, and the palate showcases concentrated cherries and cinnamon-spiced flavours, followed by refreshing tannins.
