On the 2001 vintage. \"This is very ripe and a tad confected on the nose with touches of tinned strawberries and a little sawdust. The palate is ripe with succulent tannins, although this is not a complex wine with notes of cherry, pomegranate and a touch of raspberry leaf. Good definition on the slightly austere finish.
