Beppe Rinaldi was one of the most revered winemakers in the Langhe, whose wines are highly sought-after among Barolo aficionados. Until his death in 2018, he produced wines that were among the most traditional in Barolo, with long maceration times and patient maturation in old Slavonian oak casks. There are wines that take along time to open up and mature, but that emphatically reward patience. This 2007 bottling uses grapes from two key vineyards. 70% Ravera and 30% Cannubi San Lorenzo. It is aged for 36 months in oak barrels followed by a further six months in bottle. \"The wood initially lends a dill and sawdust quality to the cherry fruit. With air, this reveals greater purity to its strawberry and raspberry flavours. Very elegant, resonating on the long, red berry and mineral aftertaste. Ethereal and old-school.\" Wine Spectator, 2012","brand":"Giuseppe Rinaldi","offers":[{"title":"Duty Paid","offer_id":62414229766474,"sku":"HED27489","price":450.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0998\/7696\/2634\/files\/HED27489.jpg?v=1781899306","url":"https:\/\/hedonism.co.uk\/products\/barolo-cannubi-san-lorenzo-ravera-giuseppe-rinaldi-2007","provider":"Hedonism Wines","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
