Yangarra Roussanne 2020

The Yangarra philosophy is to produce single-vineyard estate wines that reflect an authentic sense of place. The property spans a total of 170 hectares, of which nearly 90 hectares are planted to vine. The remaining 80 hectares are preserved for native vegetation and wildlife with the aim of enhancing the symbiotic relationship between the vines and their natural environment. The estate is devoted to producing wines from the best grape varieties of the southern Rhone, and here is a stellar example. First produced in 2007, this 100% Roussanne offers up a wonderful concentration of flavour, natural acidity and brightness of fruit, but above all beautiful finesse and balanced tannins.
