Yangarra Roussanne 2018
Led by the supremely talented winemaker, Peter Fraser, Yangarra Estate is a biodynamic winery based in the McLaren Vale that specialises in the grape varieties of the southern Rhône. This is 100% Roussanne that is hand-picked, wild yeast fermented and matured for 7 months on lees in old oak barrels. It is bright, juicy and textural, but is balanced by delicate acidity and cooling mineral tension. A more food-oriented wine, this would be excellent alongside meaty white fish, such as turbot.
