Château d’Yquem is often considered as the greatest sweet wine producer in the world, however, they also make a fine dry white known as Ygrec de Yquem. The 2016 is composed of 75% Sauvignon Blanc and 25% Semillon, and has attractive notes of citrus, pear, gooseberry and lemongrass. On the palate it is complex, textural and has a delicately saline tang on the finish.
