The 2013 release of Buffalo Trace`s excellent barrel proof wheated Bourbon. The sweltering rickhouses of Kentucky meant that distillers lost over half of the whiskey for this batch to evaporation. The result is a super-intense whiskey with dark vanilla notes, rich forest fruit aromas and a drizzle of vanilla syrup.
