Sylvain Cathiard Vosne-Romanée Les Suchots 1999 is a medium-bodied Burgundy red wine from the Premier Cru climat of Les Suchots in the Vosne-Romanée appellation of the Côte de Nuits. Sylvain Cathiard, a family-run estate established in the 1930s, finds its home in Vosne-Romanée. After Sylvain`s retirement in 2011, his son, Sébastien Cathiard, took charge of the business. This cuvée hails from ‘Les Suchots’, the largest premier cru in the Vosne-Romanée region. The estate`s vineyard plot lies above the cemetery and is characterised by deep clay soils. As a result, the wines produced here are known for their richness, opulence and a delightful touch of sweetness.
