Originally founded in the 1930s, Sylvain Cathiard is a small, family-run estate situated in the commune of Vosne-Romanée. Following the retirement of Sylvain in 2011, the domaine is now run by Sylvain`s son, Sébastien Cathiard. This particular cuvée is sourced from the Premier Cru ‘En Orveaux’, where the domaine owns a 0.29-hectare plot and the vines are over 60 years old. Expect notes of red and dark berries, hints of spice and earthy undertones.
