The 2018 was an excellent year for the Domaine des Comtes Lafon, as this elegant Volnay testifies. Sourced from a 3.9 ha vineyard in the commune of Meursault, expect a pure nose of black cherries with dark chocolate and smoky complexity. A pure palate with beautifully fine-grained tannins and earthy, violet notes. A real delight.
