Established in 1989, Jean-Luc Thunevin and Murielle Andraud have achieved an incredible amount in a short space of time with Château Valandraud, achieving St-Émilion Premier Grand Cru Classé (B) status and earning a reputation as one of the benchmark producers of the region. Virginie represents the estate’s second label and the white is generally a blend of Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc. Medium-bodied, vibrant and fresh, this would be the ideal accompaniment to fresh seafood, particularly oysters.
