Viognier Les Vignes d`a Cote Cuilleron 2018

Yves Cuilleron is a leading figure amongst a new generation of winemakers in the Rhône Valley and is a specialist producer of exceptional quality Viognier. Les Vignes d’à Côté is a more entry level, easy-drinking blend of parcels from the Collines Rhodaniennes that has been vinified in a combination of oak casks and tanks. With a focus on brightness, freshness and purity of fruit, this has perhaps less weight than a wine from Condrieu but has wonderful varietal typicity with abundant notes of stone fruits, dried flowers, blanched nuts and spices. Made to be enjoyed in youth, this is a delicious wine when paired with creamy chicken dishes.
