Since 2008, Peter Veyder-Malberg has been making huge waves with his pioneering complex and terroir-driven micro-cuvées of Riesling and Grüner Veltliner from old vines in the Wachau. Elsarner Brandstatt comes from one of the coolest sites and has distinctly vibrant and pure notes of citrus, stone fruits and salinity. This is an exceptionally complex Riesling with impeccable finesse, minerality and tension.
