Vergelegen is one of the most respected wineries in South Africa and was one of the first in the Cape to produce premium modern-style wines. V is the flagship wine and is a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot, 5% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc, sourced from the Stone Pine IV Vineyard, which is renowned for its warm, but heavily maritime-influenced, climate. A full-bodied, rich and complex wine that will surely age for decades to come.
