The 2015 Château Trotanoy is yet another superlative wine from a string of excellent recent releases. Comprising 93% Merlot with 7% Cabernet Franc, it is full-bodied, opulent and bold, with sumptuous layers of rich dark fruits interwoven by subtle savoury streaks and perfectly ripe tannins. A wonderful wine that will need a little more time in the cellar but easily has 30-40 years of potential longevity.
