The acclaimed Torbreck winery was established in 1994. The Descendant is a single vineyard Shiraz-Viognier, which is descended from cuttings from the famous century-old RunRig vineyard. The 2003 is an exceptional release perfumed with blackberries, cassis, liquorice and tar. It is elegant, powerful, rich, and just about everything one could want in a full-throttle, beautifully balanced dry red wine.
