Château Tirecul la Gravière is one of the finest producers of sweet wine in the lesser known appellation of Monbazillac. It is made from a blend of late-harvested Muscadelle and Semillon aged for around 30 months in French oak. Rich, intense and incredibly lengthy, it has delicious flavours of tropical fruits, dried apricots, citrus peel, honey, crème brûlée and toasted nuts. An excellent alternative to Sauternes, these wines are well-known for their ageing capacity.
