Quinta do Crasto is one of the finest producers of red wine in the Douro Valley and this is one of three monovarietal wines that are only made in vintages deemed to have been exceptional. Though now emerging into its drinking window, the 2012 Tinta Roriz (aka Tempranillo) is still an incredibly tightly wound and concentrated wine with many years of potential evolution left in it.
