This is once again a wonderful release from St-Émilion Grand Cru Classé property, Château Teyssier, which is part of the superb JCP Maltus portfolio. From the sensational 2016 vintage, this is a vibrant, densely fruited and complex release composed of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc. Though ideally suited to early drinking, there is enough structure and underlying depth to ensure good short- to medium-term cellaring potential.
