Rutherford Hill Winery was founded in 1976 but has undergone a renaissance in recent years since its purchase in 1996 by the famous wine importer, Anthony Terlato. First released in 2001, Episode represents the pinnacle of their portfolio and is a classic Bordeaux-style blend composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. 2012 was a high-quality vintage with wines of both early-drinking appeal and longer-term cellaring potential.
