Cantina Terlano is a cooperative of 143 growers in the South Tyrol and renowned as one of Italy’s finest producers of white wine. The 2019 Weissburgunder (aka Pinot Bianco) is the starting point to the range and offers up classical notes of pear, apple, almond, camomile and crushed rock minerality. It would make a lovely accompaniment to spaghetti alla carbonara though is a versatile and food-friendly wine in general.
