Taylor`s 50 Year Old Tawny

This release from Taylor`s – also referred to as ‘Golden Age’ – is a luxurious non-vintage Port that represents a blend of high-quality wines that have been aged in wood casks for an average of 50 years. The wine has a beautiful amber colour with greenish-gold highlights. On the nose, it exhibits a complex bouquet of dried fruits, such as apricots, figs and raisins, along with notes of toasted almonds, caramel and spices. The palate is rich and velvety, with hints of honey, marmalade and a touch of oak. The acidity is well-balanced and the finish is long and lingering.
