Taittinger’s flagship blanc de blancs was first produced in 1952 and it is only made in the best vintages. The 2008 release is a fresh, mineral and focused champagne, pleasantly scented with notes of white flowers, fresh citrus fruits, white peaches and yeasty dough. On the palate, it boasts a delicate creamy mouthfeel, racy acidity, crystalline purity and steeliness. Flavours of lemon, lime and orchard fruit, with sprinkles of white pepper lead to a long, chalky finish. Presented here in a magnum format.
