Szepsy Tokaji Aszu 6 Puttonyos 50cl 2000

The Szepsy family has been producing Tokaj wines since the 1500s and 18th generation family member, Istvàn Szepsy, is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most innovative winemakers in Hungary. This is a thick and unctuous sweet Tokaji, limpid gold in colour and with beautiful notes of apricot, peach, candied peel, honey and spice. Whilst mouthcoating, rich and decadent, it has classically high acidity and subtly cool minerality to provide the perfect counterbalance, leaving the palate refreshed and never overwhelmed.
