Stratus Vineyards is one of the leading wineries in the historic town of Niagara-on-the-Lake in Ontario, Canada. This is one of their flagship singular varietal wines and perfectly showcases the beautifully deep black fruit and floral perfume so typical of Cabernet Franc. It is dense and rich but is underpinned by lightly grippy tannins and enlivened by bright acidity, making this an excellent wine for short- to medium-term drinking.
