From Starward comes this single malt Australian whisky, matured in Australian red wine barrels and then finished in barrels that held an Australian interpretation of a Sicilian dessert wine. The nose is filled with dried fruits, toasted marshmallows and marzipan. The palate opens to an initial sweetness, with rich dried fruits, brown sugar, cola and more toasted marshmallows.
