Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars was founded in 1970 by Warren Winiarski and is arguably one of the most important California wineries having won the Cabernet Sauvignon competition at the famous 1976 Judgement of Paris. SLV, also known as Stag’s Leap Vineyard, was the first to be planted by the winery and continues to produce incredibly complex, spicy and structured wines, with a superb track record for ageing. This is an excellent release from the sensational quality 2015 vintage.
