Purchased in 1986, Fay vineyard soils are in separate parts rocky, volcanic and alluvial, producing perfumed, voluptuous fruit with elegant tannins. The 2018 vintage is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged for 20 months in 100% new French oak. Offering up fragrant aromas of boysenberry, cherry pie, cassis, sweet spice and a touch of gardenia. The wine has a velvety mouthfeel with a well-balanced structure supported by lush polished tannins and flavours of blackberry and blueberry.
