Springbank 10 Year Old Palo Cortado

The second instalment in Springbank`s Sherry Wood Series, this whisky underwent six years of maturation in Bourbon casks, followed by an additional four years in Palo Cortado Sherry hogsheads crafted from Spanish oak. The nose reveals hints of parma violets, buttercream icing, and peaches, accompanied by subtle notes of cola and grated ginger. On the palate, soft peat smoke emerges, harmonizing with flavours reminiscent of red velvet cake, strawberry laces, and icing sugar.
