Sori San Lorenzo is one of three single-cru Langhe wines made from Nebbiolo with a small amount of Barbera. The 2011 is a gorgeous wine of immaculate beauty and charm. It is structured and tightly wound but exudes wonderfully delicate aromas of red cherry, graphite and spice. Only just emerging into its drinking window, this should be decanted before serving.
