Smith Haut Lafitte 1800cl 2016

1800 cl
£3,880.00
Château Smith Haut Lafitte has a long and prestigious history and, since it was acquired by the Cathiard family in 1990, has garnered a reputation as one of the finest producers in Pessac-Léognan. Composed of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot, the sensational 2016 release is rich, perfumed, impeccably balanced and incredibly long. Though perhaps still a little young for drinking, this should be ideal to drink from 2023 onwards and should have at least 30 years potential cellaring.
