Selection de Grains Nobles (SGN) indicates a sweet wine produced from late-harvested botrytised grapes and is particularly rare as it cannot be made in every vintage. The 1999 Riesling ‘S’ comes from a selection of the oldest plots of the Schoenenbourg Grand Cru. This is an extraordinarily complex wine with delicious notes of dried apricot, plum preserve, brown spices and a subtle smokiness.
