Sena 900cl 2013
Viña Seña was created as a joint venture between Eduardo Chadwick (Errázuriz) and Robert Mondavi, who wished to create Chile’s greatest premium red wine. Since the inaugural 1997 release they have largely succeeded in their aims and Seña is now very much regarded as an icon wine. The 2013 release is possibly one of the finest iterations of this cuvée and is comprised of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Carmenère, 12% Malbec, 10% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot from 42 hectares of prime vineyards from across the Aconcagua Valley. It is remarkably harmonious and balanced, with exceptionally purity of fruit, subtle savoury complexity and fantastic length.
