Selma de Nin is the flagship white wine from the wonderful Priorat producer, Familia Nin-Ortiz. The 2017 is a blend of 25% each Parellada, Roussanne, Marsanne and Chenin Blanc from younger vines planted on clay and limestone soils. The grapes are macerated for 24 hours and fermented with natural yeasts in 300-litre oak barrels. The wine is then matured for 8 months and once bottled, is held back for 2 to 3 years before release. Lightly textural, voluminous and aromatically complex, this is a superb wine for pairing with food.
