Sea Smoke Cellars Ten Pinot Noir Magnum 2017

Sea Smoke Cellars are based in the Santa Rita Hills AVA, Santa Barbara, in the northern hemisphere’s southernmost grape growing region and the cool, but sunny, conditions found here are ideal for Pinot Noir. Ten is a reference to the number of clones of Pinot Noir planted in their biodynamically farmed estate vineyard. Of the two Pinots Sea Smoke produces, Ten is often the slightly more intense and more firmly structured. The 2017 has wonderful scents of blackberries, spices and lavender. Whilst there is youthful appeal, this will benefit from a few years cellaring.
