Sea Smoke Cellars Southing Pinot Noir 2016
Sea Smoke Cellars are based in the Santa Rita Hills AVA, Santa Barbara, in the northern hemisphere’s southernmost grape growing region. Hugely impacted by the proximity to the Pacific Ocean, the cool climate conditions found here are ideal for Pinot Noir. With fruit sourced from their biodynamically farmed estate vineyard, the aim with the Southing is to marry together true site expression, complexity and elegance. The 2016 is vibrant and fresh, with notes of plum, boysenberry, dried cherry and savoury spices.
