Sauvageonne Grand Vin Blanc Gerard Bertrand

Sauvageonne Grand Vin Blanc Gerard Bertrand 2016

This is a deliciously juicy and textural white blend composed of Grenache Blanc, Vermentino, Viognier and Roussanne made using fruit from Gérard Bertrand’s estate in the Coteaux du Languedoc, Château La Sauvageonne. It is wonderfully fragrant and aromatically complex, with notes of mango, apricot, violets, almonds and hawthorn. Rich and creamy on the palate, yet with superb acidity to balance, it would make an excellent accompaniment to flavoursome fish dishes.
