This is a classic, cool-climate Cabernet Franc from Saumur Champigny produced by Domaine Filliatreau. It is bright and juicy with a delicious bouquet of wild red berry, herbs, liquorice and cedar. Medium-bodied and beautifully balanced on the palate, it is an exceptionally food friendly wine that would pair particularly well with cured meats and cheeses. If desired, it can be served slightly chilled.
