Sancerre Petit Chemarin Vincent Pinard 2016

Domaine Vincent Pinard is situated in Bué, at the heart of the Sancerre region, and is a family owned and operated estate with 17 hectares of organically cultivated vineyards. Winemaking is exceptionally traditional with as little intervention as possible and a combination of stainless steel and large-format oak is employed for maturation. Petit Chemarin is 100% Sauvignon Blanc from a selection of their best parcels of fruit sourced from vines planted in 1968. This is a complex yet incredibly vibrant wine with delicious flavours of apple, gooseberry, slight tropical fruit and a subtle citrus pith streak. A superb example of just how thrilling and interesting this variety can be!
