Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is the world-famous wine producer that enjoys an almost mythical reputation amongst collectors and consumers. Based in the village of Vosne-Romanée, DRC is jointly owned by two families, the de Villaine and the Leroy, with Alexandre Bernier in place as cellar master following the retirement of Bernard Noblet in 2018. The estate has the monopole of two grand cru vineyards, including the eponymous Romanée-Conti, which produces this flagship cuvée from 1.8 hectares of old vines. This release is from the successful 1993 vintage, offering wines of structure and rich, ripe black fruit.
