Bodegas Roda is one of the newest wineries in Rioja and very much represents the modern side of the region. The 2016 Roda I is 96% Tempranillo and 4% Graciano from bush vines aged over 30 years old.
On the nose, notes of black plums and cherries mingle with the aromatic, earthy complexity together with notes of chocolate and sweet spices, together with a touch of oak. Elegant and fine on the palate with silky tannins, concluding on a cocoa and sweet spice finish.
