Rocca di Montemassi 2016
An exquisite Tuscan red wine consisting of 35% Petit Verdot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Syrah, expertly blended by winemaker Alessando Gallo. The nose is intense and evolved, with notes of black fruits, undergrowth, and hints of tobacco. The palate shows great concentration, with hints of spices and a well-balanced structure. The finish is long and persistent. A great option to be served with slow-cooked lamb shoulder with boulangère potatoes.
