Château Rieussec has stood as a prominent name in the Sauternes wine scene for many generations. Since 1985, the estate has been under the ownership of Domaines Barons de Rothschild. The château is situated in the village of Fargues, one of the highest points in Sauternes, and its vineyards neighbour those of Château d`Yquem. This particular bottle from the 1959 vintage is an exceptionally rare find, having matured for over six decades.
