Based in the village of Pommard, A.F. Gros is one of top domaines in Burgundy that produces highly sought-after Pinot Noir from the communes of Pommard, Beaune, Savigny-les-Beaune, Vosne-Romanée and Chambolle-Musigny. The 2016 Richebourg Grand Cru emerges from the glass with multiple layers of aromas, including plums, raspberries and lavender, followed by crushed stones and tobacco leaves. On the palate, this is a medium to full-bodied wine, with remarkable concentration and minerality. The finish is long and fragrant.
