Rhys Vineyards was founded in 2004 and in a remarkably short space of time has become a benchmark producer of compelling terroir driven Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah from sustainably farmed vineyards in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The Alpine Vineyard sits on a rocky perch looking out to the Pacific Ocean which is only 10 miles away and this cool location ensures power, structure and freshness lurk beneath all the rich, vibrant and peppery dark fruit. Now approaching its optimal drinking window but will happily live into the next decade.
