In 2016 just three barrels of Johan Reyneke’s Chenin Blanc were produced and represents his first foray into completely “natural” winemaking with no fining, filtration or additional sulphur. Fruit is sourced from a 70-year-old vineyard so is naturally very intense with white peach, apricot, thyme and almonds. On the palate it is zesty and complex with an incredibly long finish.
