Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt Goldtropfchen Riesling Spatlese 2013
Covering some 46 hectares, the Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt estate incorporates some of the finest vineyards in the Mosel, Saar and Ruwer. Situated in the Mosel town of Piesport, Goldtröpfchen is a steeply sloping vineyard with rocky shale soils and is renowned for producing intensely fruit-driven yet immensely complex and mineral-infused Rieslings. The 2013 Spätlese has rich and intense notes of peach, yellow plum, apricot, quince and wet slate. It was bottled with 67g/L residual sugar.
